Marty Maidenberg began his career at PolyGram Records in 1986, advancing in his 13-year tenure to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services where he oversaw the product management department, college outreach programs, the art and design divisions, video production and promotion.

In 1999, Marty moved to Epic Records/Sony Music as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing where he directed domestic marketing efforts for all international signings.

In 2001, Marty became General Manager of S-Curve Records, guiding the company both financially and creatively to its standing as that year’s #1 independent label (Billboard Magazine). S-Curve was profitable within its first two years of operation, selling over 10 million albums and attracting the attention of EMI Music, which acquired half of the company in 2002. He remained General Manager for S-Curve/EMI up until S-Curve's full absorption into EMI. He then became the full-time manager of Joss Stone, one of the artists whose career had been launched at S-Curve.

As Joss’ manager, Marty joined forces with Sanctuary Group Management, where he was intricately involved in establishing Joss Stone’s career as a multi-platinum artist, selling over seven million albums over the next three years. Marty was also responsible for producing performances at all live events, including solo concert tours and media events such as the Super Bowl Half-Time Performance, The Grammy Awards, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and PBS’ Kennedy Center Honors, and Great Performances.

Working with Sanctuary/Twenty-First Artists, Marty then joined the management team for Sir Elton John, where he was involved in all aspects of John's career, including touring/concerts, recording, advertising and marketing, visual imaging, film and theatrical releases, television productions, and legit transfers.

Marty then rejoined S-Curve as Chief Operating Officer in 2007, once again supervising all label activities from marketing to artist relations for the likes of Duran Duran, Andy Grammer, We the Kings, and Sir Tom Jones.

In late 2011, Marty left S-Curve to form his own agency, M Squared Entertainment, specializing in all aspects of marketing, branding, licensing, and sponsorship building. Recent campaigns include those for such artists as Sting, Carrie Underwood, Sarah Brightman, David Duchovny, AWOLNation, Hannah Gill, Jim Brickman, and The Tenors.
